01 — CONCEPT

AnArchaeologicalWarning

Centred around stainless steel time capsules containing testimonies of contemporary civilisation, the project confronts the consequences of human consumption by turning architecture into an archaeological warning.

Rainwater is channelled through the roof and amphitheatre grooves to passively trigger the capsules' descent into reinforced burial shafts, while the manually deployable scissor-linkage roof progressively flattens into the terrain.

Through kinetic structure, material lifespan studies, embodied carbon analysis, and physical prototyping, the building becomes a technically resolved posthuman system: ultimately a geological layer for future generations to uncover.

02 — SYSTEMS

Designed for Entropy

Every element is engineered to transform predictably through calculated entropy, creating a building that actively participates in its own dissolution.

01

Kinetic Roof

Scissor-linkage mechanism designed to progressively flatten over decades

02

Rainwater Descent

Natural forces trigger the descent of capsules into burial shafts

03

Material Entropy

Calculated decay transforms architecture into geological stratum
